Meet Our Travel Tribe
Martyn – The storyteller behind most of our adventures and the one usually behind the camera. As a work-from-home professional, I’ve embraced the digital nomad lifestyle, turning hotel rooms and holiday apartments into temporary offices. My travel writing journey began during one of life’s most challenging chapters, and what started as an escape became our greatest passion.
Rach – My travel partner and co-writer who brings a different perspective to our adventures. She’s the planner who ensures our family trips run smoothly and the one who finds those hidden gems that make each journey special. Her articles focus on the practical side of family travel and the romantic escapes we steal away on as a couple.
Our 8-year-old son – The youngest member of our travel crew and often our best critic. He keeps us grounded in what really matters: ice cream shops, playgrounds, and adventures that spark wonder. His excitement and curiosity shape many of our destination choices and remind us to see the world through fresh eyes.

Three Tickets Anywhere was born from one of the most difficult periods of our lives. In the space of two weeks, I lost my job of 15 years and my mum suddenly passed away. The world felt like it was collapsing, and I found myself in the darkest place I’d ever known.
But something remarkable happened during those troubled times. The only moments when the weight lifted, when genuine happiness broke through, were when we were out exploring – whether it was a spontaneous city break, a weekend getaway, or even just discovering a new corner of our own country. Travel became our therapy, our hope, and eventually, our passion.
What began as an escape mechanism transformed into something much more profound. We discovered that the world truly is like a book, and we were determined to read every page we could. From those difficult beginnings emerged not just our healing, but a new career path, a family mission, and this platform where we share our discoveries with fellow adventurers.
